Suggested trip for the section Loen - Kjenndalsbreen

Skålathe parking lot: Return to Tyva/Haugasetra, return the same way, or go for a round trip and come down either at the Sandeåsen holiday center or at Sande camping.
Quay to M/S Kjenndal: Experience Lodalen from the water, approx. 45 min boat ride to Kjenndalstova. NB Check timetables

Bring: Recreation area arranged for picnics, swimming and fishing. Fire pit
Breng Seater with its idyllic saddle meadow, Brengsfossen and grazing cows and calves in the saddle area. Famous photo subject!

Memorial plaque in Bødal: Information point about the two Lodalsulukken. Hiking on historical grounds. The boat wreck lying in the forest gives an insight into the forces of nature that were at work. Continue down to Nesodden and Lovatnet. Easy family trip

Bødal crossing:
About 5 km walk up to Bødalseter (day trip). Waterfalls, glacier arms, mountain peaks. Bødalseter is a "hidden gem" Brecamp for overnight stays in tents or hammocks, or day stays for picnics and bonfires. Path to Bødalsbreen

Kjenndalstova:
Café/restaurant. Canoe and bicycle hire, fishing opportunities

Kjenndal Glacier:
Nice path to the viewpoint for Kjenndalsbreen. Mighty waterfalls and rock formations. A wild and beautiful valley

Skålathe parking lot:
Top trip to Skåla/Skålathe tower (possibility of overnight stay) Shorter trip to Tyva/Haugasetra or Vesleskåla.

Loen Active:
Via Ferrata Loen, zip line, paddling on the Nordfjord, guided tours etc.

Loen Skylift: Loen Skylift, cable car to Hoven 1011 m.a.s.l. Restaurant, well-developed trail network with both short and longer walks. Fantastic view and sunset

Oppheim:
Rakssetra - instaseter no.1 in Loen!
