Briksdalsbreen and Brenndalsbreen

We recommend a day trip to Oldedalen. From Briksdal there is a well-maintained road and path up to the glacier. Those who do not want to walk the whole way can get a ride with one of the Trollbilane, which is ready to transport tourists up towards the glacier. On the way up to the glacier, you pass beautiful waterfalls and many nice photo subjects. Nice family trip.

Brenndalsbreen is a glacier arm that is less well known, but which is an excellent alternative for those who want to go a little more by themselves. For more information about the hiking opportunities in this valley, contact one of the many campsites or ask in Briksdal.
