Skåla 1848 m

Norway's longest downhill The trip starts at Tjugen, at approx. 30m and ends at 1848m.

Well-maintained path all the way, and on the last part of the trip there are stone steps. From Skåla you have a fantastic view of the mountains and fjord. Estimate time from 3-5 hours. For those who want to spend the night and catch both sunset and sunrise, it is possible to book a place Skålabu which is the new tourist cabin on Skåla.

Skålathe tower which is a round stone tower was built in 1891 by doctor Henrik Kloumann, and was intended to be used for people with tuberculosis. The tower was never used for that purpose, but it became a popular accommodation offer for tourists. For those who cannot bear to go all the way to Skåla, you can go to Skålavatnet and up to Vesleskåla.
