Lodalen has a long tradition of welcoming tourists, and it is a popular place for holidays and leisure. The magnificent nature with high mountains and the green freshwater attract many tourists. Most of the activity offers are nature-based. There are tours for both young and old, and of varying degrees of difficulty. In Lovatnet you can fish for trout absolutely free! The green color of the water comes from sediment and mud that the glacier brings down to the lake. Most tourists come here in the summer, but Lodalen is certainly a good place to be in both spring and autumn, and then there is both better space and a comfortable pace. There is something here for most people, but it is probably those who are looking for an active holiday, or those who simply want to enjoy nature in peace and quiet outside their motorhome or cabin, who are most comfortable here!
